How long does the process take?

Upon receiving the required medical documentation from your physician, we can usually deliver your new mobility equipment within 10 days.

 

Choosing Equipment

What’s the difference between a scooter and power chair?

A power chair is designed for mobility within the home and day-to-day mobility needs. It is often much more versatile than a scooter. Turning radiuses are shorter and maneuverability is easier, requiring very little effort. A scooter requires upper-body balance and stability for steering and turning. Medicare will not cover a scooter when required for only outside use or leisure activity.

How do I know what equipment is right for me?

Your physician and our staff can work together to determine which equipment is appropriate based on your medical condition, height, and weight.
